Disco-Party Frog (TTRPG Creature)
A downloadable creature
The Disco-Party Frog is a creature for tabletop role-playing games (TTRPG) that I created for the Tiny Library: CCG Jam #3 (Creature), which required the creature to fit on a bridge-sized playing card. It is most suitable for a fantasy setting, although it would also work in a metaverse or hallucination-fuelled science-fiction setting, and can be used by a solo player or a group, with or without a GM. It is MOSAIC Strict.
A legend speaks of a mysterious frog in a curious little hat who is able to grant wishes when situations are at their most dire. Anyone who knows of the existence of the Disco-Party Frog can invoke him. (This is to allow a player or the GM to surprise the rest of a group with the card if they want to although this surprise moment will, of course, only work once.) The Disco-Party Frog is said to require an offering of dance. He judges not the skill, however, but the expressions of delight and joy.
Each player (and the GM) can summon the Disco-Party Frog once per game - and only when your adventure hits a slump or a seemingly hopeless predicament. Whenever he is summoned, play your favourite disco song and have a quick disco dance party. If he enjoys the party he will grant you one wish. You can choose either a permanent stat increase or a non-weapon object you can carry or realistically fit in your bag.
This package contains PNG files of the front and back of the card, as well as a text-only document for those who would like an accessible version.
(For those wondering why I opted for a disco-party frog when the rhyme of "disco gecko" is right there: I really, really wanted to put a little party hat on a frog.)

This card is so cute... And powerful! Well done, cute little frog with a hat, you're a true joker. We need to party!
Funny thing is, I'm not actually a partier....
A party can be sitting around a table to tell a story about dancing bards on rollerblades, also singing and playing some vintage guitare. That's another kind of party, but still a party (at least to me)
That is an excellent point. I would like that kind of party.
Delightful! This could be a cross-stitch pattern that you hang in your dance club (or your sitting room?) for livelier parties ^^
Ha! It could. It is pixel art. All cross stitch is just pixel art (or vice versa).
