Version 1.0.1: A Tiny Update And An SA Game Jam Award
I discovered today while exporting some media files from the game in Bitsy that I had made a literal one-pixel mistake in two of the game tiles used in the background art in one scene. I also noticed that in one spot I had used a sprite whose background I had forgotten to make transparent.
These small errors were one of those things that once I've seen it I can't unsee it and it will drive me crazy even though most people will never notice so I've fixed them, which is what the version 1.0.1 update is. I didn't touch anything else in the game so hopefully nothing else has gone wrong!
Since I was making changes on itch.io I've also updated the main game page to reflect that To Reanimate Thomas, Freshly Deceased won an award in the game jam it was created for: the 2025 SA Game Jam! It was a tough competition this year with around 70 entries - by far the most the jam has ever had - but the theme was incredible and suited my narrative sensibilities and sense of humour perfectly.

I'd like to thank the judges, as well as Free Lives for hosting the jam and sponsoring the prizes, and everyone who played the game and gave feedback and offered encouraging words.
Changelog:
v1.0.1 20251116:
- Made a tiny art change to two tiles in the game.
- Corrected a sprite whose background hadn't been set to transparent.
