Are you brave enough to step into the time machine and venture forth into the unknown?

The Time Machine is a stand-alone text adventure made in Twine (and featuring retro 1-bit pixel art) but you’ll enjoy it a little more if you have played the first Tiny Adventure, The Light At The Frankenstein Place. The Time Machine features multiple endings and is quick to play.

Changelog:
• Version 2.0 (30 October 2025): A long overdue update to the game that styles it better and allows it to fit more elegantly on screens; as well as an update of some of the text to make it slightly longer and more descriptive; an update to the pixel art to fix beginner mistakes and just improve it overall; and an update to the title font. The gameplay hasn’t changed at all but a new art piece and passage have been added, as well as bonus materials from the zine that are accessible via the title screen menu.
• Version 1.0 (10 May 2020): The original version of the game, which was my second Twine game and which I also entered into The Spring Clean Twine Jam.

What fun! I loved trying all the options. A great text adventure that's short but sweet.

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
